Sexual relation in love affair with a girl below 16 years of age amount to an offence of rape - Tripura High Court
Sri Shib Sankar alias Subir Debnath, versus State of Tripura, CRL.A (J) 4 OF 2015-
It is held by Hon’ble Tripura High Court that that physical relationship with a minor girl aged below 16 years even if a love relationship existed between the accused and the girl is an offence of rape and punishable act under section 376 IPC.
