Criminal Amendment Act 2018

President promulgated ordinance "Criminal Amendment Act 2018" under Article 123 of Constitution of India for enhancing the punishment of rape case. The age of rape victim is divided under 3 categories , (1) Above 16 years (2) Below 16 and above 12 years and (3) Below 12 years. The quantum of punishment is increase according to this age groups.
